Thank you to each and every one of you that helped make this event a success. Without your cooperation, we would not have been able to get this event off the ground. Thank you to the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre for the creative promotional poster and taking care of all RSVP requests. Thank you to The Defense visible Minority Advisory Group (DVMAG) volunteers for taking on the community partnership with The Kingston African Caribbean Collective linking up with the greater Kingston community to make things happen.

Many thanks to Judi, Velma and Debra for telling our stories in such a moving manner. Thank you to Monic, Ray, Marcelle, Walter, Chaka for all the food! Thank you to Charmaine and Bay Jam! What an uplifting addition to the mix.

Thank you to Monique for crafting such a spirited fashion show. The participants were amazing! Charmaine you did us proud talking about our wonderful fashion show participants. By all accounts, this event achieved its intended purpose of getting the community out, talking to each other. I was moved listening to a conversation between two participants who found out that they went to the same school. A new friendship was crafter from this event.

We hope you to can help make future events a success
